The Sony FCB-EX490E block camera combines superb picture quality with high zoom capabilities, up to 216x with optical zoom. Ideally suited for IP-ready monitoring applications, the FCB-EX490E incorporates True Progressive Scan with a digital output (ITU-R BT656). In low or high contrast lighting situations, the Sony FCB-EX490E operates an Auto Wide-D mode that automatically turns on/off the Wide-D according to the luminance of the image. In addition, color enhancement features are ideally suited for low vision applications.
True Progressive Scan
Ideally suited for IP-ready monitoring applications, the Sony FCB-EX490E camera adopts a Progressive Scan mode to provide smooth and clear images when viewing details in a moving image (i.e., license plate of moving vehicles, a person running). All the processing is done by the PS from the CCD readout. signal to processing to video output.
Auto Wide-D Mode
When dealing with high or low contrast lighting situations, the Sony FCB-EX490E cameras monitor the luminance differences within an image and automatically switch on and off the Wide-D feature accordingly. Auto Wide-D is available in both Interlace and Progressive Scan modes.
Digital Output (ITU-R BT656)
