Q :Hi, I have Question, I have got a Sony UPW-D21 from your store and I have found out it can only be transmitted in low power mode.
How can I set it to high power transmission mode ? Please assist.
A: The Sony UWP-D21 is capable to transmit at both low power transmission mode (5mW) and high power mode (30mW)
Due to restrictions in certain countries, the default Tranmission mode is set to low power mode.
Check your country restrictions, if they allow high power mode, You may reset it to high power mode
The setting must be done on its transmitter ( UTX-B40 )- We will help you to re-set it in our store
Basically we need to access to the UTX-B40 “test mode” and reset the “RF PWR LIMIT” to “Disable”
When you read the setting it will appear as “ENABLE” which mean it was set to low power mode
