Panasonic AW-UB50 4K Large Sensor Multi-purpose Box Camera
The Panasonic AW-UB50 4K Multipurpose Box Camera offers exceptional full-frame clarity in a compact, modular design. Designed for gimbals, drones, broadcasting, live streaming, vlogging, and cinematic production, it seamlessly integrates with Panasonic PTZ cameras and supports NDI HX2. Featuring real-time autofocus and precise subject tracking, this digital cinema camera includes a 24.2MP full-frame MOS sensor, a Leica L lens mount, and a 13-stop dynamic range to handle challenging lighting conditions.

High-sensitivity, Large-format Sensors
The AW-UB50 boasts a 24.2-megapixel full-size MOS sensor, both realizing high-quality video with excellent color reproduction and resolution. The high-sensitivity, large-format sensors achieve a shallow depth of field for emotional expressiveness with beautifully blurred backgrounds. In addition, detailed expressions can be captured even in low-light environments thanks to the wide dynamic range.
Color Profile Compatible with AW-UE160
The AW-UB50 camera offers a color profile that is highly compatible with the AW-UE160 4K integrated camera to ensure consistency, even in systems using different types of cameras.
NDI HX2 Support
The AW-UB50 is compatible with the NDI HX2 IP standard for sharing high-definition video data with networked equipment, making it easy to build IP-based systems incorporating other NDI®-compatible devices.
Various IP Streaming Protocols
Planned support for RTMPS and SRT will make network-based video distribution easy, including for live streaming services.
Integration with Panasonic PTZ Camera Systems
Common IP control protocols ensure seamless integration with Panasonic PTZ cameras, allowing cameras and tallies to be controlled from a remote operation panel (ROP), remote camera controller, or live switcher. Also, the Media Production software platform enables the creation of multi-camera systems, including PTZ cameras
AW-UB50 Equipped With Multiple I/O Terminal
The AW-UB50 is equipped with terminals including 3G-SDI OUT, TC IN/OUT, GENLOCK IN, HDMI Type A, LAN, USB Type-C, φ3.5 MIC, and headphones. LAN is PoE+ compliant for power supply, allowing video transmission, control, and power supply over a single LAN cable to significantly simplify on-location wiring.
AW-UB50 Camera Functional Box-style Design for Excellent Expandability
The compact, lightweight box-style body facilitates installation in diverse locations. Handheld shooting using a gimbal is also possible.
Real-time Recognition AF
Highly accurate autofocus tracking of subjects is ensured with real-time recognition AF.
